Kim Kwapnioski

Kim Kwapnioski is the Director of the Columbus Public Schools Foundation. Kim has been in her position 1 year. In that short period of time, she has come up with five new ways to market and promote Columbus Public Schools including bringing a 38,000-pound anchor from California to sit in front of the new Columbus High School. In the 2016-2017 school year, under the direction of Kim, the Columbus Public Schools Foundation raised more than $2 million dollars, added $110,000 in new grants, built partnerships with local businesses and industries and increased staff giving by 70 percent. Kim was able to do this with events, awareness and activities that promote and market the district. Kim’s work experience includes five years in the tourism industry as well as the healthcare industry, where she took a Community Health Care Clinic from four employees to 29 employees and turned a $100,000 budget into a $2.5 million budget with supporting revenues in three years. Kim brings vision and passion to everything she does and enjoys being involved and making things happen.
